Punishment and Promise
9For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent.
Jesus will speak to us in the truth. This is the pure language that he refers to.
10From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering.
Ethiopia refers to modern day Africa.
Even Africans can serve the LORD.
It is a blessing to Africa.
11In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.
There is no need to be ashamed for your past sins. Jesus has forgiven them when you prayed the Sinner's Prayer genuinely and repentantly.
You are now Jesus's Pride.
Zion will make you humble and not a proud and haughty and arrogant nation.
12I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the Lord.
Please donate to the people in Malawe. Their annual income is only 700 AUD. My own fortnightly income is even 200 AUD more than that.
13The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
Israel is symbolic of Christians.
Please don't lie to each other. God detests liars.
You shall feed on vegetables and lie down on green grass.
Even Africa.
I have prayed for Saudi Arabia to grow trees and forests.
It really did. Saudi Arabia is a beautiful nation now.
14Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.
15The Lord hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the Lord, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.
He will take away everyone's judgment against you. He will drive away your enemies from your countries. The King of Israel, Jesus, is among you even now. He is our Living God and King, he lives eternally. You shall see no more evil.
16In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack.
Do not fear anyone or anything anymore. But please don't be lazy because of that. Please don't fall into complacency.
17The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
The LORD Jesus is almighty God. He will save, he will deliver, he delights in you. He rests in his love for you. That is why he cannot work for you on Saturdays and heal you on Saturdays. Only Jesus could break the law of healing people on the Sabbath. But I am no Jesus. I am just a disciple of Jesus. I am just a follower, not THE Jesus himself.
With singing of the angels. I am, at best, a saint, not an angel.
18I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden.
Blessed are the sorrowful and the mourning. Those who are these people will be comforted first.
19Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.
The time has come for Jesus to undo everything that he has afflicted you with. You will be pure and clean and happy and joyful and bright faced again.
Those that are barren will be saved.
Those who were previously driven away from their countries will be rescued back.
20At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the Lord.
Self-explanatory but he will really bring you back from your captivity to the world. You will no longer be a citizen of this cursed world. You will be in heaven on earth.
